7 days on us. An agent on a real number, with 30 minutes of calls. Nothing charged today. How the trial works

How an AI phone agent works. Four steps, one afternoon.

Pick your business, pick a voice, give it what it knows, go live. Here is what happens after that.

Step 1

Pick your business

Six questions. The agent gets the right role and the right next step for your trade. Twenty industries, or a blank script.

Step 2

Pick a voice

Warm or brisk, two voice engines. It calls your own mobile first, so you hear it in your own ear before any customer does.

Step 3

Give it what it knows

A spreadsheet, your web pages, your policies. You see what it understood before a caller does, and the dialogue fixes anything it got wrong.

Step 4

Go live

Forward your number or put the new one on your site. Every call ends with a written summary in your inbox and a lead on your desk.

On a call

What happens when the phone rings.

01

It answers as your business

Within about two seconds, by name, in the voice you picked. It finds out who is calling and what they need, one question at a time.

02

It looks things up before it answers

The unit on the lot, the service on the menu, the hours on your page, the policy you typed. It says only what the lookup says. When it does not know, it says so and writes the question down.

03

It closes the next step

Books a day and time and reads it back. Takes the lead when the caller is not ready. Rings a person on their mobile when the caller is. Takes a clear message when nothing else fits.

What you get after the call
Test drive booked · 2021 Tahoe LT, stock H4471 · Thu 5:30 pm

Asked whether the 2021 Tahoe LT was still available and the price. The agent confirmed stock H4471 at $44,900 with 38,200 miles from the inventory sheet. Marcus wants to see it Thursday after work; booked for 5:30 pm and read back. He is trading a 2016 Explorer.

  • Have H4471 pulled up front Thursday at 5:30 pm
  • Prepare a trade estimate for a 2016 Explorer

An example. The names and numbers are invented; the shape is what every call produces.

The summary lands in your inbox the moment the call ends. The transcript, the lead and every question it could not answer are on your desk.

What it knows

Give it what you would give a new hire.

It answers from what you upload and nothing else. You see what it understood before a caller does, and every question it could not answer is in one list, so you can add the fact once.

A spreadsheet

Your inventory or your price list as a CSV, straight from the system you already use. Up to two thousand rows; the columns are recognised by name.

Your web pages

Up to twenty pages: inventory, services, menus, hours, financing. Re-read every day so prices stay current. Fewer, better pages beat many; past ten we warn you that accuracy can slip.

Policies and rules

Hours, financing terms, cancellation, warranty, typed in plain words. Plus whatever you tell the agent in the dialogue; each correction becomes a standing rule.

The dialogue

Train it by talking to it.

There is no settings tour. You talk to your agent the way you would talk to a new hire at the end of the day. Ask what happened. Correct it. Give it a rule. Have it call someone back.

Each correction becomes a standing rule from the next call on, and you can see and remove every rule in Settings.

A conversation with your agent
  • YouWhat happened today?
  • Your agentNine calls. Three test drives booked, two leads for Dan, one service question I could not answer: whether you do Sunday oil changes.
  • YouWe don't. Service is Monday to Saturday, 8 to 5.
  • Your agentGot it. From the next call on, service hours are Monday to Saturday, 8 to 5, and no Sunday service. Want me to call the person who asked?
  • YouYes, offer them Monday morning.
Roles

A finished template, with knobs

Sales agent, receptionist, service and support, intake, booking desk, executive assistant. Each one knows what to ask, what to look up, what to capture and what never to do. You set what happens when a caller is interested: book, take details, or transfer. See the roles.

Custom

Or write the whole script

The Custom role opens the standing instructions: about 2,000 words of your own, in plain language. The agent still looks things up in your knowledge and still never takes a card. Everything else is yours.

Common questions

Straight answers.

What happens when someone calls?

The agent answers as your business within about two seconds. It finds out who is calling and what they need, looks up the answer, and moves to the next step: a booking, a lead, a message, or a transfer. Then it emails you a summary and the transcript is on your desk.

What happens when it does not know the answer?

It says so, tells the caller someone will follow up, and writes the question down. Every question it could not answer is in one list on your desk, so you can add the fact once. It never invents a price, an hour, a stock number or a policy.

Can it book appointments?

Yes. It offers the nearest times from the windows you set, takes the day and time, reads it back, and records the booking with the caller's name and number. The booking lands in your inbox and on your desk. It does not yet write to Google or Outlook calendars, so your team confirms it in whatever you use today.

Can it put a caller through to a person?

Yes. When a caller is ready, the agent rings a person on their mobile and connects them. You choose who: one person, a team that takes turns, or a schedule by day and time with a fallback. If nobody picks up, the agent takes the caller's name and number and promises a call back.

What does the dialogue do?

It is how you train the agent by talking to it. Ask what happened today. Ask why it said something. Tell it "financing starts at 4.9%" and that is a rule from the next call on. Ask it to call a lead back. Nothing to configure.

Can I keep my number?

Yes. Forward your existing number to the line, or put the new number on your site and your signs. The new number is in your area code.
