7 days on us. An agent on a real number, with 30 minutes of calls. Nothing charged today. How the trial works
Industries · Home services

On a ladder, in a crawl space, and the phone still answered.

The agent answers as your company, takes the address and the job, books a two-hour window, and asks the quote questions you set. Every call ends as a job on your desk, not a missed call on your mobile.

Made for: Landscapers and lawn care · Cleaning companies · Pest control · Handyman, gutter, window and pressure-washing crews

What you get after the call
Estimate booked · Gutter cleaning, two-story · Thu 10:00 am to 12:00 pm

Needs the gutters cleaned on a two-story house at 48 Maple Court. The agent asked about the roof type, the number of downspouts and whether there are gutter guards, then quoted the $150 starting price from your list. Booked Thursday with a 10:00 am to 12:00 pm window, read back, and said the $25 travel fee applies past the river. Karen asked whether you also remove roof moss.

  • Confirm the Thursday 10:00 am to 12:00 pm window for 48 Maple Court
  • Tell Karen whether moss removal is a service you offer

An example. The names and numbers are invented; the shape is what every call produces.

An AI answering service for home services

A live answering service writes down a name and says someone will call. An AI answering service for home services has to ask about the roof, the downspouts and the gutter guards before anyone drives out, and this one does. It quotes the starting price you listed, books a window, and explains the travel fee the same way every time. The job is on your desk before you are off the ladder.

Sound familiar
  • The phone rings on the roof and goes to voicemail.
  • A new customer calls two companies and books the one that picked up.
  • Quote requests with no address, no roof type, no idea what they need.
  • A travel fee explained differently by everyone who answers.
What the agent does on the line
  • Answers as your company, by name, within two seconds.
  • Takes the job: the address, what needs doing, and the details you told it to ask for.
  • Books the appointment: a day and a window, read back, with the caller's name and number.
  • Quotes the prices you listed and says a person will quote the rest after a visit.
  • Hands a caller who asks for a person to a tech on their mobile, in turns or by shift.
  • Emails you a summary after every call, and calls a customer back to confirm when you ask it to.
What to give it

What it knows about home services.

01

Your price list as a CSV: service, price or starting price, how long it takes.

02

Your website's services, service area and reviews pages, re-read every day.

03

Hours, service area, travel fees, minimums, and what to say about same-day work.

04

Rules you give it in the dialogue, like "no estimates past the county line".

Roles

The jobs it can take for home services.

One role per line. Two jobs, two agents, one desk.

Quote intake

Asks the quote questions you set, like roof type or square footage, and writes them up for a person to price.

Questions from home services

Straight answers.

How does it know my inventory, my prices and my hours?

You give it three things. A spreadsheet, exported from your system as a CSV, with up to two thousand rows; it recognises the columns by name. Up to twenty pages from your own website, which it reads when you add them and re-reads every day. And typed policies: hours, financing, cancellation, anything you would tell a new hire. You can also tell it things in the dialogue, and each one becomes a standing rule.

What happens when it does not know the answer?

It says so, tells the caller someone will follow up, and writes the question down. Every question it could not answer is in one list on your desk, so you can add the fact once. It never invents a price, an hour, a stock number or a policy.

Can it book appointments?

Yes. It offers the nearest times from the windows you set, takes the day and time, reads it back, and records the booking with the caller's name and number. The booking lands in your inbox and on your desk. It does not yet write to Google or Outlook calendars, so your team confirms it in whatever you use today.

Can it put a caller through to a person?

Yes. When a caller is ready, the agent rings a person on their mobile and connects them. You choose who: one person, a team that takes turns, or a schedule by day and time with a fallback. If nobody picks up, the agent takes the caller's name and number and promises a call back.

Can it take a card or a deposit?

No. The agent never reads out or takes a card number, and never agrees to a charge. Payments stay in the tools you use today. A booking or a lead is the most it commits you to.
